The Caring Committee cares about the well-being of our congregation. We provide a support system for those who need help. Some things we’ve been able to help with are providing transportation, making food, sending cards, a phone call, and being good listeners.
If you know of someone who needs help, please contact us at uucdcontact@gmail.com.
Also, to help provide these services, we have set up a private community website “UUCD Lotsa Helping Hands”. To get involved, please go to https://lotsahelpinghands.com/, click on “join a care team”, and enter “UUCD”. Share a little information about yourself, and the chair of the Caring Committee will be notified of your request to join and will send you an invitation with linkage information. You can now volunteer for a specific task that is needed where you can help.
