The Caring Committee cares about the well-being of our congregation. We have been working hard to provide a support system for those who need help. Some things we’ve been able to help with are providing transportation, making food, sending cards, a phone call, and being good listeners.
If you know of someone that needs help, please contact us at uucdcontact@gmail.com.
Also, to help provide these services, we have set up a private community website “UUCD Lotsa Helping Hands”. To get involved, please go to https://lotsahelpinghands.com/, click on “join a care team”, and enter “UUCD”. Share a little information about yourself, and Gloria Gross will be notified of your request to join and will send you an invitation with linkage information. You can now volunteer for a specific task that is needed where you can help.
